Not long ago I was talking to a fellow internet marketer and she suddenly popped the question that I should consider freelance copywriting. She kept complimenting me on how powerful my copy was. I was going over your copywriting WSO (thanks for the sneak peek) and I realized there is a lot about copywriting that I did not know. In particular I was struck by some of your examples in how to structure a sales letter as regards to features vs benefits.
The example you gave that hit home immediately was: "People do not buy car wax, they buy shiny cars."
I have been thinking about that example since I read it. I am going over in my head many of the sales letters I have read (and also been taking a peek through some of my email) and I see that many times the products I don't buy, are really nothing more than feature lists instead of explanations of how this product could bring me what I want.
Thank you for the most excellent copywriting information. Makes me glad I'm a warrior.
